on my way to history today i noticed that the snow would make me a lot less subtle. first of all, footprints. that actually might make it easier to follow but i'd have to familiarize myself with others' tread first. there's also the fact that there's so many students here, and it's a generally busy area. it might not be good in the sense of tracking but it could get me caught if i continue to pace and remain in more isolated areas. i also wear a lot of black, so i definitely stand out. being a dark figure against a sheet of white isn't helpful. also, sound! it'll be a lot more difficult to be silent due to potential crunch of snow or anything under the snow
