the only way i can keep track of him is to be within a line of sight. i can hide behind a tree if i absolutely have to but i think he realizes where i am. maybe not. he's easily distracted, i think. his hat is certainly saving me, as well as the orange in his flannel. it's difficult to see if he's facing a certain way or becomes obscured, but it's very helpful anyway.
