The magpies were infesting the sports field by school today. The track, I mean. They’re always hanging around the school and [the park]. The lunch tree is somewhat of a target too. On Wednesday, before I left for sick absence, there was a hawk. I think it had a hint of red. Either way, the magpies swarmed after it. So did a bunch of smaller birds, a bit later on. The hawk circled my line of sight for quite some time. It disappeared behind the school once or twice, but would come back. It even caught a wind draft a few times, and would fly in place. Some time after the hawk disappeared, but some magpies lingered, two crows flew over and away. They cawed a few times, so I think this all meant something. I probably need to stay away from the track. When I was passing by, a magpie sat on the fence. Particularly the area where a squirrel walked with (led?) me on my way to school up until the tree. When I saw this specific bird, I had a flashback to the pep rally. I had a flashback to [name] being there, and the absolute terror I felt then. How I had to evacuate. His hat. I asked the bird if I should avoid the area, and immediately knew not to be there. I kept walking. I might need to avoid lunch on the hill too.
